The first Ottawa Bluesfest featured three days of entertainment at Major's Hill Park with only one stage. Today, the world-class event has grown to an 11-day mainstream celebration of regional, national and international musicians. Fifteen years strong, Bluesfest continues to bring an explosion of Blues, World Music, Alternative, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Soul and so much more to the stage.
Artist Line-Up
Year after year, Bluesfest continues to present one of the most diverse line-ups of any outdoor music festival in Canada.
Event Location
Thousands of national and international performers gather at the festival site at LeBreton Flats Park, adjacent to the Canadian War Museum.
Blues in the School
In this educational outreach program, blues artists visit Ottawa schools for two weeks and work with selected groups of students.
