Westboro Village’s Richmond Road is getting prepped for this summer’s biggest art and cultural festival. WESTFEST 2010 is taking over the community, with a horde of artists and musicians ready to deliver impressive performances of music, art and literature. Year after year, the festival grows and offers a bigger and better, one-of-a-kind cultural experience featuring music, visual art, literacy, performance art, dance, spoken word and theatre. WESTFEST is built on founder Elaina’s philosophy; Acceptance of everybody, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race or religion. As a result, Westboro Village’s festival is truly a diverse celebration of canadian and local Ottawa music, art and life.
